The Ruby Street - Eagle Rock Los Angeles Wedding

Amy & Matt, live in Philadelphia, but Amy grew up here in Los Angeles, Highland Park to be exact, and knew she wanted to be married where her family is, so they decided on the hip, "California Cool" venue, The Ruby Street. The venue took care of everything, catering, day of coordination and recommended a DJ. They are both scientists and a little more reserved, so they had a little smaller, more intimate Los Angeles destination wedding. Most of their family & friends flew out and I know they enjoyed dinner & drinks with their closest family & friends.

Matt is a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) alum - his ring features the Beaver mascot & his cuff links are DNA strands!

Matt & Amy decided to have their "First Look" in the outside front yard with the California desert landscape of The Ruby Street.

Amy decided for an nontraditional cake - a cake made of crystals. But, more than anything, they wanted to honor family that is no longer with them, so they made a memorial of their family's wedding photos.
