Christie grew up vacationing in Laguna Beach and after 5 years of dating Dave, he knew that Laguna Beach, at the Surf & Sand Resort, was the perfect place to propose - so, of course it was the right place to get married! The two met at USC Law School and were introduced by mutual friends- they hit it off immediately! Christie said her favorite part of her & Dave’s wedding was the First Look and then beach photos, we kept it easy going for both and brought in some extra special lighting for the beach to make the two of them pop against the ocean. When I met with them a week before the wedding, they told me that they wanted photos to be bright, bold & fun, but with a little bit of candid, photojournalism. Their day was so beautiful, classy, beachy - it was very Christie & Dave! Congrats to these two!

Christie said this about her dress, “I decided that there aren't many times in your life when you can wear a ballgown and be drenched in flashy stones. I also wanted to look unique and match the venue of the wedding. I chose to wear Decklyn by Hayley Paige. This ivory striped organza bridal ball gown, draped ballerina bodice with curved V-neckline, open back with cut-out detail, and full cascading skirt was perfect for me. It was comfortable and very beach appropriate. I added some large costume diamond jewelry to class it up. For shoes, I wore a satin evening sandal with crystal asymmetrical straps by Badgley Mischka. Even though no one could see them, they were probably my favorite part of the outfit.”

Dave surprised Christie, a big Disney fan, with Mickey and Minnie at the end of their reception, they spent the rest of the night dancing away with the famous couple!
